Services to Individuals

Methodists Helping Methodists

For individuals’ interested in investing with the Foundation, we offer participation in the Methodists Helping Methodists (MHM), Fund by Offering Circular. The advantage of investing in this Fund is knowing that while you are earning interest with rates competitive with money markets and CDs, you also support the growth of United Methodist churches throughout the Conference. The Fund makes loans to United Methodist Churches for capital improvements.

Two types of accounts are available:

• Demand accounts are available with a minimum investment of $1000. Withdrawals can be made at any time upon written notice.
• One, two, three, four and five-year certificate accounts are available for amounts $5,000 and above. Interest can be paid out quarterly or reinvested.

How to Open an Individual Account

If you are a United Methodist living in the state of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Montana and 18 years or older, you may call the Foundation office at 303/778-6370 or email: umfinc@qwestoffice.net for the Offering Circular and Subscription agreement. Or you may begin the process now by: *

• Print and read the Offering Circular below
• Print and complete the appropriate subscription agreement form
• Return the completed and signed agreement along with you investment check payable to:

• One, two, three, four or five-year Subscription agreement
